A frequently asked question: Is there an international standard for nozzles?

At present there is no international standard for nozzle products. Nozzle manufacturers have developed their own performance standards, which apply to their products only. For this reason, manufacturers refer to the same type of nozzle, component, or characteristic by a variety of different terms.
